Clarifying some dental myths:

🥴 Charcoal powder whitens teeth.
Yes charcoal powder is abrasive and will get rid of superficial stains BUT it causes thinning of the enamel due to abrasion. .
🥴Flossing is overrated.
If you don’t floss you miss cleaning 40 percent of the surface of the teeth.
It’s like taking a shower after a workout and only cleaning the upper half of your body. .
🥴If you don’t clean your teeth one night it really doesn’t matter.
Well one night might not cause a huge detrimental change but it’s that one night that can slowly turn into a habit. Nighttime is the time where the plaque is the most consistent in accumulating and causing the most damage.

Conclusion: the mouth is part of your body and the gateway where most things enter it. Look after it like you look after the rest of your body.
